Set up Funds1 screen
Used to set up funds, each with a unique fund number that is used as a dimension value, a fund type, and a fund class.

Create the fund
Go to General ledger > Chart of accounts > Funds > Funds
- Select New and enter the fund number and description
- On the General FastTab, set the fund type and fund class

Microsoft's steps
- Go to General ledger > Chart of accounts > Funds > Funds.
- Select New.
- In the Fund number field, enter a unique number.
- In the Fund name field, enter a name.
- In the Fund type field, select the fund type.
- In the Fund class field, select the class.
- Set the Non-reporting fund and Major fund options.
- Set the Override selected year-end option, and if it is Yes, select a year-end option.
- Select Save.
