Set up Fund types1 screen

Used to create fund types, each with a value and description, before funds are set up.

  1. Screen 1

    Create the fund type

    Go to General ledger > Chart of accounts > Funds > Fund types

    1. Select New
    2. Enter the fund type BEAT-GOV and its description

    Create the fund type (zoomed on the outlined fields)
    Show the full screenCreate the fund type
    page title tab to open what to set or check

Microsoft's steps

  1. Go to General ledger > Chart of accounts > Funds > Fund types.
  2. Select New.
  3. In the Fund type field, enter a value, such as one of the eight GAAP fund types.
  4. In the Description field, enter a description.
  5. Select Save.
