Set up Message processing actions1 screen
Used to set each action's type, its format or class, and the initial and result statuses that link actions together.
Screen 1
Create the message processing action
Go to Tax > Setup > Electronic messages > Message processing actions
- Select New, and enter the Action and Description
- On the General section, set Action type to Create message
- On Result statuses, select Add and select the Message status
- Select Save

Microsoft's steps
- Go to Tax > Setup > Electronic messages > Message processing actions.
- Create an action named Create message with the Create message action type.
- Create an action of the Message level user processing type, with an initial status and a result status.
- Create a Generate report action of the Electronic reporting export type, and select the format in the Format mapping field.
- On the Initial statuses and Result statuses FastTabs, select the statuses the action starts from and ends in.
