Used to give budget owners a Word template, assigned to the budget planning process, that explains why a requested budget is needed.

    Microsoft's steps

    1. Go to Budgeting > Setup > Budget planning > Justification document templates.
    2. Select New and browse to the Word document you created.
    3. Enter a template display name and a description, and then select OK.
    4. Go to Budgeting > Setup > Budget planning > Budget planning process.
    5. Select the process, select Edit, and choose the template in the Justification document template field.
