What it is	A setup page for the two-digit transaction codes that show the nature of a transaction in Intrastat reporting.
What you do here	Used to set, for each transaction code, how invoice amounts and statistical amounts are calculated for transfer orders and for sales and purchase orders.
Example	For example, transaction code 11, Outright purchase/sale, uses the invoice amount for both the invoice amount and the statistical amount.

Set up Transaction codes1 screen

Used to set, for each transaction code, how invoice amounts and statistical amounts are calculated for transfer orders and for sales and purchase orders.

Create the transaction code
Go to Tax > Setup > Foreign trade > Transaction codes
1. Select New
2. Enter the Transaction code and Name
3. Under Sales and purchases, select the Invoice amount and Statistical amount rules
4. Select Save

Microsoft's steps

Go to Tax > Setup > Foreign trade > Transaction codes.
On the Action Pane, select New.
In the Transaction code field, enter the code, such as 11.
In the Name field, enter a name.
In the Sales and purchases section, select the rules in the Invoice amount and Statistical amount fields.
Set the rules for transfer orders as needed, and then select Save.
