3How to do it
Microsoft's steps
- Go to Accounts receivable > Payments > Bill of exchange > Protest bill of exchange journal.
- Create a journal, and then select Lines.
- Select the customer account for the invoice that the bill of exchange covers.
- On the Bill of exchange tab, check that Remittance type is None and no bank account is selected.
- Open settlement and select the open transaction from the invoice, then close the page.
- On the Bill of exchange tab, select the Protest cause.
- Post the journal.
