Set up Reservation type1 screen
Used to give general budget reservations different characteristics and requirements based on purchasing needs.
Screen 1
Create the reservation type
Go to Budgeting > Setup > General budget reservations > Reservation type
- Select New
- Enter the Reservation type and Description
- Check the Relieving document, and on the Carry-forward budget section set Reduce carry-forward budget
- Select Save

Microsoft's steps
- Go to Budgeting > Setup > General budget reservations > Reservation type.
- Select New.
- Enter a name in the Reservation type field and a description.
- In the Relieving document field, change the default if another document should relieve the reservation.
- On the Carry-forward budget FastTab, set Reduce carry-forward budget if needed.
- Optionally, select a general budget reservation workflow on the Workflow FastTab.
- Optionally, select a number sequence code on the Number sequence FastTab.
