Periodic journals, also called recurring journals, are journals whose amount, text, and other information repeat each time they are posted.

3How to do it
Microsoft's steps
- Open the Periodic journals page and select New.
- In the Name field, select a journal name.
- In the Description field, enter a name that you will recognize when you retrieve the journal later.
- Select Lines.
- In the Date field, enter the posting date for the next transfer.
- Enter the account, a description, the debit or credit amount and the offset account.
- In the Unit field, select Months, and in the Number of units field, enter 1.
- In the Last date field, enter a date in the period before the first posting.
- Select Save.
