1What it is and why

What it isA setup page where you set up consumption factors, as a quantity or a percentage, for assets that are depreciated by usage.
What you do hereUsed to give the consumption depreciation method the usage figure for each period, which is multiplied by the unit depreciation.
ExampleFor example, a quantity factor of 1,000 for January 31 and a unit depreciation of 1.5 give a depreciation proposal of 1,500.

Set up Consumption factors1 screen

Used to give the consumption depreciation method the usage figure for each period, which is multiplied by the unit depreciation.

  1. Screen 1

    Create the consumption factor

    Go to Fixed assets > Setup > Consumption depreciation > Consumption factors

    1. Select New
    2. Enter the Consumption factor and Description
    3. In the Factors section, enter the End date and a Quantity or Percentage
    4. Select Save
